KIEV, March 15 ??“ The Ukrainian government on Wednesday appeared to be split over the pace of economic expansion this year that may further delay release of the official growth forecast, officials said.

The Economy Ministry, which is responsible for drafting the forecast, said the gross domestic product was likely to moderately accelerate and will grow 2.8% on the year in 2006.
