KIEV, March 14 ??“ Moldova and Ukraine on Tuesday discussed a $200 million project to upgrade an abandoned railway linking the two to bypass the separatist TransDnistria region that had blocked all traffic on the border.

The project would help to relieve a huge traffic jam currently on the border as 3,500 railway cars have been staying idle for a week after TransDnistria has refused to let them in.
