KIEV, July 20 – Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko has promised to do his best to solve the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet.

"It has been reported from the incident scene that Pavel Sheremet was killed by a bomb. It is a murder. I will do everything I can so that we solve this crime together with colleagues," he wrote on Facebook.

Lutsenko expressed condolences to the co-founder and head of the Ukrainska Pravda online edition, where Sheremet worked, and all friends of the deceased.
