ZAPORIZHIA, June 16 – Pope Francis' Pope for Ukraine humanitarian project has amassed several million euros donated by European citizens for Ukrainians affected by the Donbas war, Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin said.

The launch of the Pope for Ukraine project was announced by Parolin at a meeting with journalists in the Zaporizhia-based Temple of God the Father of Mercy on Thursday, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
