KIEV, March 1 ??“ Unknown arsonists tried to set on fire a house of a prominent Crimean journalist Wednesday after she had printed investigative information on candidates running for a seat in local Parliament.

Lilia Budzhurova, who leads the First Crimean, an independent newspaper, said the arsonists sprayed the house with gasoline and set the fire, shortly before it had been extinguished by her family members.
