KIEV, Feb. 23 ??“ Turkmenistan and Ukraine made progress in sorting out recent disagreements over natural gas debts that may lead to resumption of Turkmeni gas supplies by the end of the month, officials said Thursday.

The progress comes after three days of exchanging harsh statements, including threats to switch to a new gas supplier and to take the dispute to an international court of arbitration in Stockholm.
