KIEV, Nov. 18 – Yuriy Serheyev, Ukraine's permanent representative at the UN, will soon be replaced by another official, the Ukrainian presidential office has confirmed that.
"We highly value Yuriy Serheyev's work as permanent representative, and he is a top-rank diplomat. He perfectly proved this when ensuring the international community's solidarity with Ukraine at the UN forum at the hardest times of Russia's aggression. At the same time, there is a rotation rule in diplomacy for ambassadors after they exceed the limit of their service as head of a diplomatic office," Kostiantyn Yeliseyev, a Ukrainian deputy presidential chief of staff, said in an exclusive interview with Interfax.
