KIEV, June 22 – The condition of the radioactive waste storage facility, which is located in an area controlled by the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), is a cause for major concern, Major-General Andriy Taran, the head of the Ukrainian side of the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC), said.

Taran said during a meeting with representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) on June 20 that the storage facility could have been damaged as a result of the detonation of underground ammunition warehouses, the press center for the special operation said on Facebook on Sunday.
