KIEV, March 26 - The total sum of wage arrears in Ukraine rose 7.5% in February, the State Statistics Service reported.

According to the service, wage arrears on March 1, amounted to UAH 1.575 billion, or 5.2% of the monthly wage fund for February, while wage arrears on February 1, 2015 amounted to UAH 1.466 billion, or 5.1% of the monthly wage fund for January.

As of March 1, 2015, the wage arrears of economically active enterprises, establishments, and organizations totaled UAH 1.102 billion, those of economically inactive entities UAH 154.009 million; and the debts of bankrupt enterprises were UAH 318.613 million.
