KIEV/MOSCOW, Jan. 20 – President Petro Poroshenko will visit the events devoted to the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

At a meeting with Poroshenko on Monday, Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz asked the president whether he can visit the events scheduled for January 27.

Poroshenko said he can.

Kopacz also said Poland is ready to see all citizens of Ukraine at the celebrations, who fought on the First Ukrainian Front and took part in the liberation of the concentration camp.
