KIEV, Jan. 20 – The decline in Ukraine's industrial production in December 2014 increased to 17.9% from 16.3% in November-October and 16.6% in September, the State Statistics Committee reported on Monday.

Ukraine saw a 10.7% decline in industrial output during 2014, whereas the annual decline in 2013 was 4.7%, 0.5% in 2012.

The service said that in Donetsk region industrial production in December 2014 fell by 49.1% (in November by 51.3%, October – 55.7% and September 59.5%) and in Luhansk regions it plummeted by 83% (by 82% in November, October – 80%, and August-September – 85%). Data on the two regions could be revised.
