KIEV, Sept. 5 – Railway infrastructure in Ukraine has been damaged due to armed hostilities in the eastern part of the country and the loss amounts to some UAH 900 million, Ukrzaliznytsia reported.
According to the report, the largest sum is required to restore tracks – UAH 33.6 million and repair overhead contact system and power supply equipment – UAH 334.1 million.
Stations, bridges, pedestrian crossings, bridges, passenger and cargo wagons, diesel locomotives, buildings and equipment were also damaged.
