KIEV, Dec. 15 ??“ Ukraine??™s economy contracted in November for the second time this year dashing the government??™s hopes of economic acceleration before the end of the year, data released from the State Statistics Committee suggest.

The economy contracted 2.7% on the year in November, the committee said. The economic growth slowed down to 2.2% on the year in January-November, compared with 2.8% growth recorded in January-October, the committee said.
