KIEV, April 22 – Sevastopol Marine Plant (Sevastopol, Crimea) says it has not received orders from the Defense Ministry of Russia, particularly an order worth $140 million, about which Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke on April 17.
"The volume of an order as a rule is formed and approved at the end of the previous year. The enterprises are to have special permits as a part of the defense order of the ministry to fulfill any orders of the Defense Ministry of Russia. Sevastopol Marine Plant does not have permits to repair Russian Black Sea Navy craft and cannot carry out repairs, or receive orders to fulfill them from the Defense Ministry of Russia," the press service said.
