Moscow could revise commitments after Ukraine govt forms, says DPM
Journal Staff Report

BRUSSELS, Jan. 28 - If a new Ukrainian government announces a different agenda and different priorities, this could theoretically serve as grounds for Moscow to revise the existing agreements with Kiev, but this possibility is not under consideration now, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said.

"If the Ukrainian government, whatever it is after its formation, announces a different agenda and different priorities, then this would probably be grounds for us to revise the agreements. But it is important for us to comply with all of our commitments within the boundaries of the existing agreements," Shuvalov told journalists following an EU-Russia summit on Tuesday.
