KIEV, Nov. 8 ??“ Ukraine??™s industrial output increased 2.4% on the year in October, compared with 0.9% in September, showing early signs of stabilization in the sector that had been disappointing the government for a year.

The cumulative industrial output increase has slowed down to 3.1% on the year in January-October, compared with 3.2% in January-September, according to the State Statistics Committee report. It suggests the government will probably miss its 2005 forecast.
