BRUSSELS, Oct. 3 - The European Commission has suggested starting talks with Ukraine on development of a common airspace.

Commenting on the decision, EC Vice President Jacques Barrot said: "Sharing the benefits of common air travel market, Ukraine and EU will improve bilateral relations and create conditions for profits both for the airline industry and for consumers," according to a European Commission press release, which was sent to Interfax-Ukraine.
