MOSCOW, Sept 14 - Russian telecoms firm Vimpelcom's general meeting voted on Wednesday in favor of acquiring Ukrainian telecoms firm RadioSystems despite opposition from major shareholder Telenor, Reuters reported.

The meeting was called by one of Vimpelcom's major shareholders, Russia's Alfa Group, which wants to expand in Ukraine, while Vimpelcom's second top shareholder, Norway's Telenor, which already control another operator in Ukraine, was against the move.
