KIEV, Aug. 11 ??“ President Viktor Yushchenko ordered Thursday the creation of an economic panel that would include prominent economists such as members of the International Monetary Fund, to advise him and the government over the economy.

The decision comes amid a major slowdown of the economy that has already forced the Economy Ministry to start work on revision downwards of the growth forecast.
