KIEV, July 26 ??“ Lukoil, Russia??™s largest oil company, shut down its Ukrainian oil refinery in Odessa on Tuesday for three years to implement a major overhaul that will cost $320 million, the company said.

Lukoil plans to upgrade the refinery so that it can produce more high quality gasoline meeting stricter environmental standards, a project that could lead to increased gasoline exports to Europe.
